Purpose of this wiki: The sharing of ideas for determining effective strategies to integrate new technologies such as blogs and wikispaces into the BCIS curriculum and apply them in a manner which lends itself to cross-curricular collaboration. Gathering ideas and suggestions to encourage and provide relevant, sustained Educator Professional Development and Training to facilitate the implementation of new technologies into the classroom as outlined in Key Area II of the Texas STaR Chart (http://starchart.esc12.net/).
Questions to Consider:
1. How can introducing blogs to the BCIS curriculum reinforce MLS practices?
2. Is professional development/training required prior to implementation?
3. Do you believe that wikis or blogs have the potential to enhance instruction? If yes, explain your reasoning.
